Royal Festival of the Horse Accumulator
This is a 1.45m showjumping speed class where horse and rider will have to display extraordinary speed and accuracy around the course to scoop the £3,000 first prize. Riders accumulate points for each obstacle jumped clear and then face an optional joker fence with a greater degree of difficulty at 1.60m. This will give riders a dilemma, should they take a chance to grab the lead or risk knocking it down and losing everything? The fastest rider with the most points will be the winner.
Prize money: 1st = £3,000, 2nd = £2,000, 3rd = £1,250, 4th = £1,000, 5th = £750, 6th = £500, 7th = £375, 8th = £375, 9th = £375, 10th = £375,
Royal Festival of the Horse Grand Prix
A true test of horse and rider agility and talent, the Festival Grand Prix will be a tough course built to a maximum of 1.60m. Consisting of two rounds of jumping, where all clear rounds in the first round, or the best 5 scores, go through to the second round jump off. All scores from the first round are carried through to the jump off where riders will jump a shortened course against the clock. The fastest rider with the least faults after the jump off will take home the £10,000 first prize.
Prize Money: 1st = £10,000, 2nd = £7,500, 3rd = £6,000, 4th = £4,000, 5th = £3,000, 6th = £2,000, 7th = £1,000, 8th = £500, 9th = £500, 10th = £500.
